The unprecedented COVID-19 situation has not only destroyed lives but millions of jobs all over the world. With businesses being stalled all over the world, there is little, if no option than to wait for return of normalcy. However, recently most countries have relaxed COVID lockdowns and restrictions in place in an effort to lift the already ailing economy. There has been several safety protocol recommended by the Government of India earlier which industries and factories need to follow so as to stay safe from the pandemic, whilst also allowing employees to work with clinical efficiency. We, at VR Foundries, fully comply with the safety procedures laid down in the guidelines issued by the GOI in the wake of COVID-19 scare.    

Our employees are advised to wear N95 masks, and we offer hand sanitizers to our employees and workers at the unit to protect one another from virus. Social distancing is being practised in all client and team meetings. We’ve been creating awareness among our staff and workers to keep the premises absolutely clean. The wearing of mask was felt necessary even in spite of shopfloor workers spending most part of time in areas of high temperature. And those units which operate under controlled temperature for shopfloor have been brought under greater safety measures. We advise our workers to use soaps and wash their hands regularly at the unit due to the materials they handle. We have been regularly educating our employees, staff and workers on how COVID spreads, and how community spread can be effectively controlled at the personal level.  

We will take every safety measure possible to keep our employees, workers and staff safe during this untoward situation, providing they improve their body immunity levels through the cultivation of a healthy mind and body as recommended by the Ministry of AYUSH.
